vidal sassoon redemption

I had a bad haircut at Vidal Sassoon, as you all may have heard or even seen. I had written about my haircut sadness on Yelp and the owner of the salon contacted with me with an apology and a reschedule. I recently went back to get to get the hair fixed by one of their directors, Miriam and she rescued my hair! I think it's pretty hot. A little bit of Amelie and a splash of Irina Spalko. If you need a fierce cut, make an appointment with Miriam!

anniversary in napa

Our two year anniversary is nearing and we've been so busy, we didn't have time to book the usual Big Sur trip. This year we went to Napa with Kaia. We went to Oxbow Market, there was a block party going on. But we were loving Kaia checking everything out.





For dinner we ate at the Thomas Keller's wonderful Ad Hoc.

The Saturday menu was-
TFL Garden Salad: shaved torpedo onions, spiced cashews, d’avignon radishes, matthiasson yellow nectarines, banyuls vinaigrette

Colorado Lamb Ribeye: full belly farm’s german butterball potatoes poached in red wine sliced summer squash, fennel, sweet carrots, scallions

Roncal:st. supery star thistle honey, celery & pickled garlic relish

Raspberry Financier:toasted almonds and chocolate ice cream
