lumba lumba

1) Explosions in the Sky- the sound track to our lives. Play on long road trips and rainy nights.

2) Feist track 13, "How my Heart behaves"

3) Band of Horses track 3, "No ones going to Love you"

Self explanatory.

Always looking at the moon the same time it's in your sky too.

macrina saturdays

I will miss my Saturday morning walks to Macrina Bakery. They are located 5 blocks from my house and the brunch is amazing, one of the only places in Seattle that the chef can cook eggs properly. Jersey always gets the French Toast and the toppings change every week. This week it was Asian Pear and Almonds.

I got a cold day favorite- kale and woodland mushroom bread pudding, with wild greens, and potatoes.

ballard locks

My wonderful postpartum doula, Tara, took us to the Ballard Locks. We saw water rise to accommodate passing boats, the salmon run is there too (but it wasn't salmon season), and there are lovely gardens to walk around.
You can tell I am in Seattle, it's grunge Trish with flannel and cap!

two months with kaia

No one really could prepare me for this crazy ride. I am exhausted, unglamorous, hairy, dry skinned, chapped lipped, sore nippled, and cracked bones. But look at that face! She's just too cool.

sisters from different misters

I got to see Ether this weekend. YAY!! Kaia and Ripley met for the first time. Ripley was such a sweetie, like a good big sister she reached out for Kaia's hand. *Heart melts*
