Kaia's first day was yesterday. She was so happy being at school, she didn't want to come home! I had to bribe her with a milkshake!

We got to see Explosions in the Sky at the Henry Miller. Another magical night!

Kaia and I got to check out John Russo's honey bees making lavendar honey in Carmel. I love this guy! We bought some yummy honey that I will be using in recipes soon.

hwy one vacay

I know, it's been a couple of months, but hey! I was dealing with gallbladder surgery and I spared you from pictures of my gallbladder and stones. I am feeling much better and hoping to have a healthier year moving forward. We recently camped at Henry Cowell State Park, stayed at Carmel Valley Ranch, and then down to Big Sur at The Glen Oaks Motel. Here's a few pictures of Kaia enjoying her last summer before school.

We went to see the Stein Collection at the SFMOMA. Kaia wasn't into Picasso.

not feeling well

This is Kaia, sick at the Farmer's market. We went home early.

But, she grabbed these macarons from TellTale Preserves.

a day with asha

Kaia's best girl is Asha. They met at Daycare and they love hanging out with each other. We took them to the Bay Area Discovery Museum.
